To arrive at the (h)fairest roast chicken in the Netherlands, an extensive selection took place. The Gildehoen became the perfect chicken for its rich flavor, fine texture and sustainable background.
Based on the quality of the roasted Gildehoen, the chef started developing the perfect marinades out of a passion for sustainable taste sensations. By experimenting with various ingredients and flavors, the chef created three marinades that make the chicken flavorful and super tender.
The Gildehoen is a sustainable piece of poultry meat for the guest who consciously chooses better living. The Gildehoen chickens are pleasantly raised without antibiotics. With the Gildehoen you eat a pure poultry product. It is healthy, very tasty and 100% antibiotic-free chicken meat.
The Guild hen grows up in a barn with straw and daylight. Due to the lower stocking density in the houses, only 2/3 of that of regular poultry farms, and the availability of free-range and play equipment, the animals grow up pleasantly. The chickens are mainly fed a minimum of 70% grains. The diet of these Guild hens is 100% plant-based and contains no growth promoters.
